The 2017 courses for the recreational Cyclosportif have been announced. There are two distances to choose for the rides, a 34-mile and a 58-mile – termed the “50K” and the “100K”.
The rides begin at 8:30 am on the Start/Finish line of the professional races in Doylestown (E. Court & Main Streets) and are quite hilly, and most beautiful, in nature. Three covered bridges grace the course completing the Bucks County experience.
There are two feed zones/rest stops for the 100K – one at the Bridgeton AA in Upper Black Eddy and one at the iconic Lumberville General Store, which serves as the one stop for the 50K ride.
Bright yellow Tour de France style course markings will guide the “Cyclos” on their way.
Upon arrival back in Doylestown the Cyclos will have their own last-turn trackside hospitality tent with food and drink to help them recover from their efforts, while watching the professionals in action.
