Brompton lovers! Race in front of a giant crowd as a star attraction at the Thompson Bucks County Classic. The beautiful Victorian town of Doylestown is the setting for world class cycling with the Brompton race, held at 12:30 between the pro women and pro men’s races, set as a star attraction.
Bring good cycling skills - the racecourse is a doozy - great spirit and superb taste in clothing. We are expecting a sartorital extravaganza.
Entry fee includes lunch and drink - beer is rumored - and a VIP seat in our tent on the final turn of the criterium course. For Philadelphians, and anyone along the Doylestown line, Septa is providing a special Brompton car, with MIke McGettigan of Trophy Bikes our Head Conductor.
Technical Info for Bromptonites: Lemans start, five laps of the famed and most challenging 1.4 mile racecourse (7-miles race).
