Interview: 3-time Olympian Bobby Lea

News

Race director John Eustice recently sat down for a video chat with 3-time Olympian, 4-time Pan American Champion and 30-time National Champion, Bobby Lea while Bobby was in Rio for this year's Olympics.

The former and current pros discussed the current state of American cycling, Bobby's future racing plans, his work to bring more people into the sport of cycling, and our favorite topic, the Thompson Bucks County Classic. America's premier male velodrome racer will be ripping up the streets of Doylestown on September 11 in the criterium.

Having athletes of Bobby's caliber compete in what is often recognized as America's best race in America's best town is a testament to the popularity and quality of the race and, more importantly, the passionate support the community throws behind the professional bike racers who race it.
